What We Do

Leadership Arlington is committed to identifying leaders from various geographic, ethnic, occupational, and economic segments of Arlington. Led by qualified adult leaders with a background in training and development, the program is designed to  educate adults with a passion for civic engagement and leadership opportunities.

The program begins with a class retreat featuring team-building exercises and networking activities at Camp Thurman. At monthly meetings, the Adult Leadership Arlington program is designed to better connect you with local nonprofits, city boards/commissions, as well as community service opportunities that exist throughout the City of Arlington. Click here to read testimonials showcasing alumni success and involvement in the Arlington community.

Adult Leadership Arlington will develop your leadership skills by asking adult students to participate in a variety of activities that give them an in-depth look at city operations, community issues, civic engagement, and social services in Arlington. The class will also feature remarks and built-in engagement from some of the city’s most influential leaders, organizations, and alumni, helping those enrolled in the program find the perfect fit to serve their community years after they graduate Leadership Arlington.
